Best Lipsticks- Chanel Rouge Coco
Sunday, April 4th, 2010
Rouge Coco is a new range of 30 lipstick shades to be created for Chanel by make-up maestro Peter Philips, and this vampish shade of wine red, Byzantin, is my favourite. It looks gorgeous worn with pale skin & a little black dress, just as Madame would have liked.

The Johnsons Classic lipcare balm has undoubtedly been my ‘must have’ beauty product this winter and will continue to be this spring too. It smells of marshmallows, leaves your lips moisturised & soft and doesn’t leave a huge dent in your bank balance either. Stock up while you can !
The hotly anticipated Private Blend lip color collection is the ultimate in luxury, with its super chic gold & ivory embossed packaging to & TF logo imprinted on the bullet. Of the 12 shades, Cherry Lush is the perfect pillarbox red for achieving that classic Hollywood pout.
This stunningly beautiful lipstick compact is the work of renowned Parisian jeweller Lorenz Bäumer, and is more a collectors item to be kept & treasured than merely a lipstick. Thanks to a clever magnetic mechanism, Rouge G de Guerlain reproduces the air-releasing effect of antique powder cases. At the first click, the white gold metal case reveals a mirror and then a lipstick nestled within. Upon closing, the magnets resonate with a heavy click, making it feel truly luxurious. The lip colour is enriched with mango butter & comes in 25 different shades.
A brilliant tinted lipgloss, although this one contains antioxidants as well as fruity extracts of mango, grape seed, rose hips and apricot kernel. Unsurprisingly, given its ingredients, it smells amazing, and leaves your lips glossy as well as subtly tinted with shades of marvelous mauve, french rose, black raspberry or pink rider. Apply twice a day to prevent picking and biting already chapped lips.
